DynaRent contains a special module for these purposes called Rental Contracts. These contracts come in nine different types, and each contracts contains a set of trade agreements. The Rental Contracts module can be used to define rental-specific trade agreements, which are then automatically applied during (sub) rental order creation and invoicing. This works similar to the trade agreements in standard Dynamics AX, but the rental contracts are tailored for rental processes.
7. What is the main purpose of the Dimension Extensions module in DynaRent?
The Dimension Extensions module is used to analyze and classify financial transactions, and to view data from different perspectives so that amounts can effectively be tracked across ledger accounts. Dimension Extensions uses and improves Dynamics AX’s financial dimensions functionality, while offering a more flexible and completely configurable approach to populating and validating dimension values across the application.
8. Does DynaRent let me track modifications to rental and/or sub rental orders?
Yes, DynaRent’s amendment log is used to provide a complete overview of order amendments that were made to any (sub) rental order, from price adjustments to rental stops, every modification is included in the history.

The rental search for is the starting point for any fleet management clerk, and provides a comprehensive overview of all your current rental orders. Additionally, the form allows you to quickly jump to important related information such as rental orders, order amendments, fixed assets, rental objects, etc.
11. Can the distance from a depot to a venue be connect automatically to a venue?
A venue is a location where a rental object must be delivered or picked up. On a venue a distance can be setup, together with the trade agreements in standard Dynamics AX this distance can automatically be derived on a specific order (Either sales or rental) where this venue is being set.
12. Can I create projects and related tasks directly from the service plan board?
DynaRent’s service plan board supports a “Quick Project Creation” feature. When activated, projects as well as tasks can easily be created by dragging the outline of the task for a specific resource (or resource group).
